| Follow-up on deposit |

| I sent a letter to my old place and requested a response w/i 7 days. I sent it certified so that I would make sure that got it. W/I two days I got a response. They told me that I would be getting my full deposit back w/o and deductions and I would also get the interest charge on my deposit too. They did they me how much my deposit was and the interest and that my check would total ... They stated in the enclosuer of the letter that a check was enclosed. There was no such check. They wrote a hand written note that my check had to come from there corperate office. No time line was given in when my check would be sent to me and no phone number for he corperate office was given. I wondering if I should give the full 7 days and if I don't have a check w/i that time should I go ahead and file in small claims court. |
