State Lead Paint Law

Ark. Stat. §§ 20-27-601 to 20-27-608, Permits the state to investigate the sources of lead hazards when a child is diagnosed with an elevated blood-lead level. Requires the state to notify the owner/occupier of a dwelling of detected lead hazards and requires abatement.  Prohibits evicting the occupants of an affected residence. Mandates licensing for lead abatement workers as well as standards for removal of lead hazards
